Terms of Engagement and Refund Policy

Advanced payment of a nonrefundable retainer fee in the amount stipulated on our contracts or invoices is required before commencement of any consultative work on the Client’s project.

This initial retainer fee is an advance against advisory work.  In exchange for services rendered above, Clients will pay Sorabia a retainer fee, 5 working days after contract signature date ("Engagement Date").

Such payments represent fees relating to assisting in the operation of the Client company, gathering of due diligence, preparation of marketing information and financing materials, introduction to sources, preliminary transaction discussions and other related activities.

As compensation for providing advisory services, the Company agrees to pay Sorabia a retainer fee equal to the amount quoted by Sorabia (the "Retainer Fee"). The Retainer Fee will be payable 5 within days upon contract signature.

The hiring of a project finance consultant is an important decision that should not be based solely upon advertisements. Before you decide to hire the consultants at Sorabia, ask us to send you free written information about our experience. We urge all potential Clients to make their own independent investigation and evaluation of any services being considered.

Clients are responsible for legal costs and an expert advisory fee for qualifying cases.

Preparation costs and other legal expenses shall be paid by the Client. A third-party deal sponsor is also considered a Client by Sorabia.

No representations on this website are meant to imply that the quality of the consulting services of the affiliated consultants is greater than the quality of consulting services performed by any other advisory firm. Sorabia, makes no representations that any of its consultants are certified as specialists in any area of corporate finance by any state board of industry specialization.

Our Clients’ past results do not create a guarantee of future results. Every case is unique and must be assessed according to its own facts and merits.

The testimonials or endorsements found on this website or anyother do not constitute a guarantee, warranty, or prediction regarding the outcome of your business project. Neither the consultants at Sorabia nor any other consultants may ethically guarantee the outcome of a project.

In an unfortunate scenario, where the refund of the amount is claimed, Sorabia's strict Refund Policy is given as below;

Sorabia is a services-based consulting firm and is fully eligible to be compensated against its time, experience, expertise, advisory, consulting and services. Any amount earned in its scope of services is not refundable unless expressly declared.

Management Fee and Consulting Fee is treated as advance payment and considered as earned against the time and services of the Consultant, except the termination of the agreement for cause where;

If the premature termination is happening prior to rendering the full services, then a fair calculation will be made as per professional services rate along with any reimbursements and the portion of the unearned amount will be refunded to the Client.

If the full scope of services is completed, Client might not be eligible for any refund.

Any third-party payments including but not limited to investment amount, govt. / authority fee, third party payment, attorney fee, vendor payment is out of the scope of responsibility of Sorabia and any refund is subject to their independent policy without any prejudice of Sorabia.

Full refund will be issued in case of technical error such as double charging or any other cases where Sorabia are responsible.

A refund claim is acceptable in case of the inability or incompetency of service execution and in which case a fair calculation of compensation against the time and efforts must be evaluated.

Refund will be issued through the Original Mode of Payment or via Bank Transfer where it is not possible to refund via the original mode of payment.

Any success fee, referral fee, brokerage fee, commission or repatriation once earned is not refundable.

In any particular service request, the refund policy stated and described in its service contract is considered as annex to this refund policy and is enforceable.

Any refund request should be made in written email / letter form stating the exact reason for the Refund claim which will immediately lead to suspension or termination of services.

Any refunds requested due to a customer error will be subject to a US$550 administration charge, once approved.

Any refund once approved, will be processed within 30-45 working days. A note will be sent to the client to confirm the refund's approval.

Refunds may be delayed for an undetermined period of time, in the event Sorabia does not dispose of the treasury to effect the refunds within 45 working days. In this scenario, we will duly update the client, or seek alternative solutions.
